Role Description The Ballroom Dance Teacher will provide professional instruction in a variety of ballroom styles through group classes, private lessons, and workshops.

This full-time, on-site role in Edmonton, AB includes planning and delivering lesson plans, demonstrating technique, musicality, and partnering skills, and adapting teaching methods to different ages and levels. The teacher will assess student progress, offer constructive feedback, prepare students for social dancing and performances, and help maintain a positive, safe studio environment. Additional responsibilities may include assisting with studio events, supporting student retention, collaborating with other instructors, and representing the studio in a professional manner.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Dance Instruction and Dance Education, with the ability to teach Latin Ballroom Dance and/or Contemporary clearly and effectively.
• Experience in Teaching, including planning lessons, managing groups, and supporting diverse learning needs as an asset
• Proficiency in Ballroom Dance and related partner dance styles, with solid technique and performance awareness required
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as required for classes and events.
• Professionalism, reliability, and a commitment to creating an inclusive, respectful learning environment.
