Overview
STATUS: 37.5 hours per week, Fixed Term Contract (9 months)
SALARY: Competitive and based on experience and qualifications.
LOCATION: Manchester / Hybrid. The candidate may be required to travel between TNEI offices.
We are seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst to lead a critical business systems transformation programme. The successful candidate will take ownership of replacing our in-house developed application (currently serving as a CRM, HRMS, and Project Accounting system) with a scalable, best-in-class solution aligned to our growth strategy.
The candidate will work across multiple initiatives, including an ongoing HRMS implementation and the planned upgrade of our accounting system. A key focus will be ensuring seamless integration between systems and alignment with business processes.
This is a high‑impact role requiring strong stakeholder engagement, end‑to‑end project ownership, and the ability to bridge business needs with technical solutions.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead end‑to‑end business analysis from discovery and requirements gathering through to implementation and go‑live.
- Engage with stakeholders across Finance, HR, Operations, and Marketing to document and validate functional and non‑functional requirements.
- Analyse current systems and processes (AS‑IS), identify gaps and inefficiencies, and define future‑state (TO‑BE) workflows and solution requirements.
- Support system selection and vendor management, ensuring clear translation of business needs into deliverables and alignment across CRM, HRMS, Project Management and Finance systems.
- Oversee integration design, data migration, training, testing (including UAT), and implementation activities to ensure a smooth, coordinated deployment.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an IT Business Analyst delivering complex systems implementations.
- Strong experience with enterprise systems such as CRM, HRMS, and Finance/Accounting platforms.
- Experience working on system integration projects (APIs, data flows, middleware, etc.).
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Experience working across the full project lifecycle (requirements through to go‑live).
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams and priorities.
- Experience in professional services, energy, and/or consultancy environments.
- Familiarity with project accounting and resource management systems.
- Experience supporting CRM, HRMS and/or Finance system implementations.
- Knowledge of integration tools or platforms (e.g. middleware solutions).
- Exposure to Agile and/or Waterfall delivery methodologies.
