ROSTER: 5/2 (Monday-Friday)

ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Management Accountant, you will work closely with our senior management team and assist operations in managing cost, budgeting, forecasting and reporting.
- Compile and analyse financial data to prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including monthly and quarterly management accounts.
- Prepare and analyse monthly budget-to-actual results, providing insights and recommendations for financial performance improvement.
- Manage and support ongoing budget and forecast activities, ensuring continuous financial planning and control across all operations.
- Develop and maintain financial forecasting and business case models to facilitate informed decision-making.
- Evaluate business operations, revenue and expenditure trends, and financial commitments, providing strategic recommendations and solutions to address financial challenges.
- Other duties as required.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent.
- Mining industry experience preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a management accountant or similar (required).
- Advanced knowledge of financial and accounting best practices, laws, standards, and state/national regulations.
- Proficient in computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel).
