If this sounds like a culture you would like to work in, you’re invited to apply for this role.Job DescriptionFor one of our major projects in Adelaide, we are seeking an experienced and commercially focussed HR IR Manager to lead the HR and Industrial Relations function and partner with project leadership to drive workforce performance and project success.Reporting to the Project Leadership Team, the HR IR Manager provides strategic and operational leadership across all aspects of Human Resources.

This role is responsible for developing and executing people strategies that support project objectives, ensuring compliance with Australian employment and industrial legislation, mitigating workforce risks and fostering a high-performing and engaged workforce.Key Responsibilities:Lead the HR function for a Mega Project, providing strategic direction, governance, and operational leadership across all people-related activities throughout the project lifecycleAct as the Sr. HR Leader ad trusted advisro to the Project Director and Leadership teamDevelop and excute the project HR strategy, including workforce planning, talent management, organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, succession planningLead all workforce mobilization and staffing activitiesBuild, lead, coach and develop a high-performing HR teamProvide Leadership and oversight for Employee Relations and Industrial Relations, including labour relations planning, employee engagememt strategies, workforce risk managementServe as escalation point for complex, sensitive and high-risk HR and employee relations mattersPartner with Project Leadershp to drive workforce capability and organizational performanceLeade workforce planningOversee and ensure consistent application of HR policiesCollaborate with HR Business Partners, CoE, Payroll and Project Services teamPartner with Project Quality managerConduct and oversee HR field auditsLead HR training, leadership coachinh, and capability-building initiativesBuild and maintain strong relationships with employees and other stakeholdersDrive and Lead continuous improvement of HR practicesEnsure compliance with Fluor's HSE and Ethical Business standards.Please note that this is a project-specific role supporting a major project in Adelaide.Basic Job RequirementsBsc degree in Human resources, Industrial relations, Business, Law or related disciplines16 years of relevant HR or Industrial Relations experience, preferably within Construction, Mining, Energy, Infrastructure, Engineering or major project enviromentsDemonstrated experience managing Industrial Relations within complexed, unionized workforcesStrong knowledge of Australia employment legislations, Fair work requirements, enterprise bargaining and industrial relations frameworksProven ability to influence senior leadersStakeholder management, negogiation, communication and conflic resolution skillsStrong commercial acumen, analytical capabiliyu and risk management experienceDemonstrated success leading and developing high-performing teamsTo be Considered Candidates: Must be authorized to work in the country where the position is located.We are an equal opportunity employer.
