Senior Business Analyst - Security

Title: Sr. Business Analyst - Security Operations

Location: Ottawa - some on-site when needed

Expertise:

• Knowledge of GRC frameworks, practices, and operating models.
• Experience leveraging GRC platforms to support risk, compliance, and control management.
• Ability to assess enterprise systems, SaaS, and cloud platforms to identify risks and control gaps.
• Experience conducting gap analyses and defining future-state processes and operating models.
• Ability to align business processes with enabling technologies to improve efficiency and control effectiveness.
• Strong analytical and stakeholder engagement skills to support data-driven insights and implementation of improvements.

Key responsibilities include:

• Support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of GRC policies, processes, and practices.
• Conduct current-state and future-state assessments of business processes, identifying gaps, risks, and optimization opportunities.
• Assess enterprise systems, SaaS, and cloud platforms to identify control gaps and recommend improvements.
• Define and support the implementation of improved operating models aligned with a product-centric and platform-enabled approach.
• Perform data analysis and reporting to identify trends, risks, and areas for continuous improvement.
• Engage stakeholders to gather requirements, validate findings, and support the implementation of recommendations.
