Truck Driver

Responsibilities

• Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks for the transportation of goods and materials
• Drive lighter and special-purpose trucks as required
• Load and unload cargo safely and efficiently
• Conduct pre‑trip, en route, and post‑trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance
• Monitor and inspect the vehicle’s condition, including tires, brakes, lights, cold storage units, and other essential equipment
• Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance
• Record detailed information on cargo, hours of service, mileage, and fuel usage
• Receive and transmit dispatch information to and from central operations

Qualifications

• Languages: English
• Credentials & Licences: Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: 1 to less than 7 months

On the Road

Work locations may vary. Frequent or constant travel is required from the employee.
