A vacancy has arisen within the Paediatric Department at Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy, for an Advanced Paediatric Nurse Practitioner to join our friendly, dynamic and proactive multidisciplinary team, providing support to the Respiratory Service.
With the ability to work both on their own initiative and as part of the multi‑disciplinary team, the successful candidate will use their enthusiasm, well‑developed communication, decision making, prioritisation and problem‑solving skills and advanced clinical knowledge and practical skills to provide excellent care to the children and young people within our acute paediatric service whilst supporting the middle‑grade tier of our medical trainee rota.
Our modern and friendly Paediatric unit consists of an Acute Paediatric in‑patient ward, High Dependency Unit, Ambulatory Care Unit, Short‑Stay Assessment Area and a dedicated Paediatric Out‑patient department.
