Introduction
We are seeking a Warehouse Leader, Chile, to join the Consumables business area and the regional operating hub for SAM. You will lead, develop, and optimize warehouse operations across the region to ensure safe, efficient, and cost‑effective material flow supporting customer delivery. You will ensure capacity readiness, inventory accuracy, operational performance, and continuous improvement while enabling strategic transformation in warehousing capabilities, automation, and digitalization.
Your role plays a crucial part in the business area strategy, which will contribute to our profitability and our service levels to customers.
In this position, you will report to the Warehouse Manager SAM and be located preferentially in Con con Chile.

What You Will Do
Warehouse Operations
- Oversee day‑to‑day performance across warehouse sites (factories, distribution centers, and external warehouses), ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operations.
- Manage warehouse capacity, throughput, storage utilization, and resource allocation to meet manufacturing, inventory, and customer service requirements.
- Coordinate inbound, storage, and outbound warehouse flows, ensuring timely material availability, order fulfillment, proper documentation, and compliance with handling requirements.
- Ensure operational readiness across warehouse facilities through effective planning, equipment availability, housekeeping, and process discipline.
Inventory Management & Control
- Own the inventory control framework, ensuring high inventory accuracy across finished goods, raw materials, consumables, spare parts, and company assets.
- Lead cycle counting programs, physical inventories, reconciliation processes, root‑cause analysis, and corrective actions to prevent inventory discrepancies and losses.
- Drive improvements in inventory management practices to reduce excess handling, avoid stockouts, improve traceability, and minimize shrinkage.
- Ensure strong alignment between warehouse operations, planning, manufacturing, procurement, and customer service teams to maintain inventory integrity and material availability.
Safety, Compliance & Quality
- Champion a proactive safety culture and ensure compliance with regulatory, environmental, quality, and internal company standards.
- Conduct regular audits, identify operational risks, implement corrective actions, and ensure proper storage and handling of all material categories.
- Ensure warehouse processes support product quality, traceability, and compliance requirements throughout the inventory lifecycle.
- Lead, mentor, and develop warehouse supervisors, inventory analysts, coordinators, and operational teams, fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous learning.
- Establish performance expectations, monitor key operational metrics, and drive execution against service, productivity, inventory, and safety targets.
- Lead and execute continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, cost optimization, inventory accuracy, service levels, and operational excellence.
- Drive the adoption and optimization of WMS, automation, digital tools, and reporting capabilities to improve warehouse visibility, traceability, and efficiency.
- Support S&OP / SIOP and operational planning processes by providing warehouse capacity, inventory, and operational performance insights to enable informed decision‑making.
Who You Are
- Master/Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in warehouse operations, material management, and logistics in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with WMS, automation, and digital warehousing tools.
- Strong analytical and data literacy skills.
- Strategic mindset with strong execution.
- Skilled in cross‑functional collaboration and stakeholder management.
- Bring a continuous improvement mindset.
- Demonstrate strong communication and influencing capabilities.
