What the Role Delivers

A Staff Accountant is a cornerstone of financial operations, uniquely positioned to ensure the accuracy, transparency, and reliability of an organization’s financial data.

Key Responsibilities

• Book entries under US-Gaap and Local Gaap (various LATAM and other entities)
• Review of payment proposals
• Bank account reconciliation (Shadow/transitory SAP GL bank accounts)
• Account reconciliations in Blackline
• Review of Intercompany Reconciliation
• Ensure correctness of Accounts (Accrual, prepayments, GR/IR, VAT, Payroll)
• Ensure proper organization of archives of your area of operation
• VAT and WHT filings, EC-Listings, Intrastat for different entities in LATAM and other regions

What the Job Requires

• Solid accounting experience, bachelor’s in business administration required.
• Strong command of Excel
• Strong command of SAP (as an accountant)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish are mandatory.
• 2-5 years of accounting experience in an industrial environment
• Travel is not foreseen for the position, but might be necessary at a certain point in time
