Mission of the Role

The mission of the Sr Product Manager is to shape product strategy, simplify a mature platform,

champion AI-driven innovation, and become a true partner to engineering. You will drive the

discovery, development, and delivery of high-impact product solutions that accelerate company

growth and deliver exceptional user value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with company objectives.
  • Lead product discovery through user research, data analysis, and market insights.Throughly understand clients needs and expected outcomes.
  • Prioritize features and initiatives based on impact, effort, and strategic alignment.
  • Evaluate product opportunities through the lens of customer outcomes, ensuring new functionality solves meaningful problems rather than adding unnecessary features.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, design, and go-to-market teams to deliver high-quality products.
  • Partner closely with Engineering leadership to ensure sprint readiness, remove delivery blockers, and maintain a healthy, prioritized backlog.
  • Simplify existing product workflows by identifying friction, reducing complexity, and improving usability across the platform.
  • Identify, prioritize, and deliver AI-powered product capabilities that improve customer workflows, automate manual tasks, and enhance decision-making.
  • Vet potential integration partners from a business and technical perspective. Manage those on-going relationships from scoping, integrating and managing performance and continuous partnership evolution.
  • Define and track key product metrics, using data to inform decisions and iterate quickly.
  • Drive experimentation (A/B testing, MVPs) to validate hypotheses and reduce risk.
  • Communicate product plans, progress, and outcomes to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve user experience and business performance.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 7+ years of Product Management experience with at least 3 years leading complex B2B SaaS products.
  • Proven track record of simplifying complex products and improving customer workflows.
  • Demonstrated experience building, launching, or scaling AI-powered product capabilities beyond using AI as a personal productivity tool.
  • Strong experience partnering with Engineering to prioritize work, define sprint-ready requirements, and balance customer needs with technical constraints.
  • Experience making product prioritization decisions based on customer value, business impact and engineering effort.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using product metrics, experimentation and customer research to drive decisions.
  • Experience evaluating build-versus-buy decisions and managing third-party technology integrations.
  • Startup or high-growth company experience with a history of thriving in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
  • Experience in Multifamily PropTech, Property Management Software, Tenant Screening, Identity Verification, Fraud Prevention, Financial Services, or a closely related domain is strongly preferred.
  • Bonus: Experience with Jobs-to-be-Done, Outcome-Driven Innovation, or similar customer-centric product frameworks.

Role is reporting to the VP of Product

Verifast is Head Quartered in Toronto, Ontario

Role is full-time, Hybrid or Remote

Salary is based on experience: $110,000 to $160,000 USD
