Job Purpose

Results driven Business Analyst specializing in Business Intelligence (BI) and Financial Reporting, with extensive experience transforming complex data into strategic narratives and visual dashboards. Expert in designing and optimizing data models to track critical KPIs, profitability, and regional vendor/reseller performance. Proven track record of bridging the gap between traditional finance and technology, enabling executive decision‑making through automation and predictive analysis.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Prepare and present compensation models for analyzing compensation plans and metrics for business units.
  • Calculate sales commissions.
  • Lead collaborative meetings and partner with assigned stakeholders in the business to drive profitability.
  • Develop presentations and data visualizations relevant to analyze KPIs that impact the profitability of each business unit.
  • Prepare and analyze overachievement per business unit and meet with leaders to follow up business results.
  • Actively participate and add value to ad‑hoc finance initiatives and inter‑departmental projects.

Core Competencies

  • Advanced financial reporting: specialist in financial statement consolidation, margin analysis, budget tracking, and reconciliation of complex corporate performance metrics.
  • Data modeling & ETL: architecture and structuring of relational databases, large‑scale data cleansing, and optimization of data flows from multiple sources.
  • Performance visualization: creation of interactive, dynamic, and high‑impact dashboards tailored for the C‑Suite and regional management.
  • Operational efficiency: automation of manual reports to reduce processing times, mitigate human error, and ensure data integrity (single source of truth).

Technical Skills (Tech Stack)

  • Analysis & modeling: Advanced Excel, Power Pivot, Power Query, and DAX language.
  • Visualization & BI: Power BI.

Qualification, Knowledge & Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting.
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Ability to execute instructions and request clarification when needed.
  • Strong clerical and data entry skills.
  • Proficient at performing advanced mathematical calculations.
  • Attention to detail with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Clear communication skills and ability to convey necessary information.
  • Skill in creating and conducting formal presentations.
  • Effectiveness interacting with all levels of management.
  • Negotiation skill and ability to promote/sell ideas persuasively, closing transactions with mutually beneficial results.
