Sr. Business Analyst, Credit Risk

Job Description

Our client, a leading Canadian financial institution, is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join their Risk Management team in support of a high-priority regulatory initiative. This role will focus on Credit Risk Management and will play a key role in gathering business requirements, analyzing credit risk data, supporting regulatory compliance initiatives, and collaborating with stakeholders across the organization.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Business Analyst who enjoys working in a fast-paced enterprise environment, engaging with senior stakeholders, and leveraging both business analysis and data investigation skills to drive project success.

Skills and Requirements

5+ years of Business Analyst experience within banking or financial services

• Credit risk systems and data
• Regulatory reporting and data programs
• Data governance and data validation frameworks
• Proven experience working on OSFI-aligned regulatory initiatives

Hands-on Experience With:

• End-to-end data lifecycle / data flow analysis
• UAT coordination and execution
• Production support environments
• Experience within a financial institution
