Duty Manager and Supervisor

Busy and beautiful waterfront restaurant located on the water at Hillarys Marina with stunning views and serving authentic rustic Italian food is looking for Hospitality Professionals to join our team! Mia Cucina is a fantastic Italian restaurant searching for a Duty Manager and Supervisor for a stable & permanent position in a great venue, working with great staff!

Responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day operations of the busy a‑la‑carte restaurant, working a flexible 5‑day roster of day and evening shifts between Tuesday and Sunday.
• Lead and support the Floor Team, maintaining the high standard of service currently delivered to clientele.
• Ensure smooth service and operational efficiency, handling any issues promptly.
• Oversee front‑of‑house service standards and support bar operations including coffee making and liquor licensing requirements.

Requirements

• 3+ years in a Duty Manager or similar role within a busy hospitality venue.
• Significant experience in front‑of‑house service.
• Proven leadership and people‑management skills, able to motivate and develop strong teams.
• Genuine passion for customer service and creating memorable experiences.
• Ability to think on your feet and problem‑solve issues quickly.
• Deep knowledge of bar operations, coffee making, management and liquor licensing laws.
• A current RSA and Approved Manager Card.
• Knowledge of point‑of‑sale systems.
• Currently reside in Western Australia.
