The Role
Based at our branch in Canning Vale Sydney, the role of the Maintenance Technician is to support the production team by providing quality and efficient maintenance services during planned maintenance, breakdowns and the deployment of new plant and machinery.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities
- Maintaining Laundry machinery such as Washers, Dryers, Ironers and conveying systems
- Troubleshooting electrical and mechanical faults, production breakdowns, production start‑ups and shutdowns
- Planned maintenance and using our Spindle maintenance program
- Working with steam and/or gas appliances
- Working with other reticulated services hot/cold/softened water, pneumatics, trade waste out flows
- Identifying and participating in continuous improvement initiatives and projects
- Identifying and reporting safety issues and concerns
Key Skills and Experience Required
- Electrical trade qualification will be highly regarded.
- Previous experience in Laundry, Food Processing or a similar industry is preferred.

We’re looking for a Maintenance technician to join our commercial laundry. This is a permanent, full‑time position in the Engineering department where you will work onsite in our branch 5 days a week, supporting our production team to ensure the smooth running of all equipment. The key tasks include responding to breakdowns, completing planned maintenance as scheduled and installing new plant and equipment as it comes along.
