Customer Service Centre Consultant – Brisbane
We are looking for a Customer Service Centre Consultant to join our Government & Defence team in Brisbane. In this role you will provide assistance to Australian Defence Force (ADF) members and corporate and government clients with relocation enquiries via phone, SMS, and email, operating on a rotating roster between 7.00am and 9.00pm, Monday‑Friday. The position requires the ability to work remotely from home or office.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide timely and professional assistance to ADF members and clients regarding relocation enquiries.
- Handle high‑volume call centre inquiries and maintain focus under pressure.
- Communicate clearly over phone, SMS and email, ensuring discretion and professionalism.
- Work within the scheduled roster and adapt to changes in workload.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum one year’s experience in a high‑volume, fast‑paced contact centre or customer service environment.
- Excellent keyboarding skills and proficiency in Microsoft365 applications.
- Capacity to rapidly acquire industry‑specific knowledge, particularly for the relocations sector and ADF.
- Strong commitment to exceptional customer service and a customer‑first mindset.
- Outstanding time management and organisational skills.
- Strong communication and listening skills, with empathy and a solution‑focused approach.
- Self‑motivated, autonomous, and capable of working effectively both independently and as part of a team.
