• Salary: $36.10 hourly / $70 to $88 hours bi-weekly

Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Responsibilities

• Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions, using computer equipment, GPS, or other navigation devices, to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions
• Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy
• Load and unload goods
• Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
• Perform brake adjustments
• Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
• Receive and relay information to central dispatchRecord cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
