Responsibilities

• Reporting to the Finance Manager, you\'ll work across a broad range of responsibilities including:
• Preparing monthly management reporting, budgeting and forecasting
• Delivering meaningful financial analysis and commercial insights
• Partnering with operational stakeholders to support business decision making
• Monitoring project performance, costs and profitability
• Identifying opportunities to improve reporting, processes and financial controls
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the finance function

Candidate Profile

• You may already be working as a Management Accountant within industry, or perhaps you\'re looking to make your first move from public practice into a commercial environment.
• We\'re looking for someone with strong accounting fundamentals, advanced Excel skills and a genuine interest in understanding how a business operates beyond the numbers.
• CA or CPA qualification, or working towards, will be highly regarded.
• Experience within construction, property, manufacturing, mining or another project-based environment will be viewed favourably, however it isn\'t essential.
• Just as importantly, you\'re commercially curious, enjoy building relationships and are comfortable working in a business that is continuing to evolve.
• You take ownership, communicate confidently with stakeholders and enjoy improving processes rather than simply maintaining them.

The role offers a salary between $110,000-$130,000+ super, together with a discretionary bonus after a qualifying period and some flexibility for life\'s commitments where required.
