Job Description
Ryanair Labs is recruiting an EU261 Claims Administrator to join Europe’s largest airline group. This role offers the chance to be part of a busy customer service team at Europe’s number one airline, engage in strategic decision‑making, and gain exposure to senior stakeholders in a multicultural environment. The position is based in the Madrid city centre office.
Responsibilities
- Support the CS management team in responding to EU261 claims in a timely manner.
- Gather information using different systems in the preparation of EU261 cases.
- Respond to written correspondence in line with the Customer Service Department’s service levels and procedures.
- Understand and interpret claims and correspondence.
- Work to tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Liaise with internal and external departments on a regular basis.
- Report and communicate solutions to management for any problems that arise.
- Maintain records, databases, and systems, ensuring timely payment of claims.
- Occasionally perform ad‑hoc duties to support the team.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar Customer Service/Claims handler role is an advantage.
- Fluency in English and another European language is an advantage.
- Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent organisational, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Flexible and diplomatic under pressure.
- Energetic and enthusiastic, eager to thrive in an expanding company.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail‑oriented, able to complete large volumes of work quickly.
