Requirements

  • Prior experience within the Distribution & logistics industry is highly desirable
  • Experience using Microsoft Office
  • Experience using SAP highly regarded
  • Ability to work from the Kunda Park site full time (Mon‑Fri – 6am‑3pm)
  • Located in or near Kunda Park
  • Forklift licence

About the Role

As a Customer Service Operator – Forklift Driver you will report to the Trade Store Manager, where you will be responsible for distribution activities as well as administration tasks and direct customer service both over the phone, via e‑mail and face‑to‑face throughout the Kunda Park trade store.

Responsibilities

  • Hand unloading plasterboard as an offsider
  • Dealing with customers face‑to‑face & over the phone
  • Picking and packing orders daily
  • Administration duties including data entry and e‑mail management
  • Regularly check and make up orders
  • Receipt goods and check off paperwork while maintaining due diligence
  • Loading/unloading customer vehicles
  • Maintain operational equipment and report any faults or damage to management
  • Record and report any customer complaints to the Trade Store Manager using Knauf's complaint and customer procedures
  • Assist with stock take/inventory counts to ensure accurate inventory records are maintained
  • General warehouse duties and housekeeping
