Job Description
1. Executive Mandate
Aoki is poised to redefine the movement of goods and people through precision-engineered electric mobility assets. We are seeking a Manager of Commercial Sales to lead our expansion into regional economic hubs and institutional networks.
This role is designed for a leader who excels in transitioning traditional commercial fleets to sustainable platforms and has a deep understanding of cooperative-driven and public-sector procurement ecosystems.
- Regional Growth: Establish a dominant commercial presence in emerging growth corridors and regional industrial hubs.
- Fleet Transition: Lead the market shift from traditional intermediate commercial vehicles (ICVs) to agile, data-driven electric mobility platforms.
- Institutional Integration: Navigate and secure high-value partnerships within public-sector initiatives and cooperative-led enterprise networks.
Institutional & Public-Sector Partnerships
- Identify and engage with community-led development missions, large-scale cooperatives, and regional federations to integrate Aoki assets into their livelihood programs.
- Manage high-stakes procurement cycles, including identifying, bidding for, and executing mission-driven institutional projects.
- Develop value propositions that emphasize social impact, economic empowerment, and commercial viability for institutional stakeholders.
Commercial Fleet & Regional Operations
- Drive the conversion of traditional regional logistics fleets—specifically those utilizing legacy multi-wheeled cargo platforms—to modern electric cycle solutions.
- Launch and oversee a 25–50 unit captive delivery pilot in a key regional hub, maintaining full P&L responsibility and operational oversight.
- Use pilot data to build sophisticated Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) models that demonstrate clear ROI over traditional internal combustion alternatives.
- Experience: 3-5 years of B2B sales leadership in the automotive sector (specifically commercial or utility categories) or logistics.
- Regional Expertise: A demonstrated history of building distribution networks and securing sales within developing regional geographies and district-level markets.
- Project Expertise: Success in managing institutional contracts or public-sector mobility initiatives.
5. Selection Protocol
- Screening Round (15 Minutes): Evaluation of industry background and experience in regional/institutional sales.
- Case Study Assessment (40 Minutes): A simulation focused on commercial modeling and regional operational rollout.
- Final Executive Round (15 Minutes): Strategic discussion regarding P&L ownership and market expansion vision.
