Financial Accountant

We are hiring a Financial Accountant to support the newly established Teltonika IoT Solutions office in Madrid. This individual contributor role focuses on managing financial reporting, accounting operations, compliance, and supporting the company's financial health in a fast‑growing international organization.

This opportunity is for ambitious finance professionals who seek to build a solid financial foundation while supporting business growth across global operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting tasks such as invoicing, trade receivables and payables, recording and posting financial transactions, bank reconciliations, inventory accounting, and processing entries within the accounting system.
• Create monthly budgets and forecasts.
• Execute the monthly closing process.
• Prepare management reports and reports to HQ.
• Manage payroll administration.
• Ensure compliance with all accounting, reporting, legal, and tax requirements.
• Conduct financial year‑end closing and reporting, and prepare documentation for annual audits and tax authorities.
• Establish the finance/accounting department in the local office in coordination with the CEO and HQ.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the CEO or HQ.
• Prepare tax declarations (optional).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's / Master's degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration or a similar field of study.
• 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance.
• Analytical mindset with ability to interpret complex data.
• Ability to work independently in a new office environment.
• Energy, drive, and a can‑do attitude.
• Commercial acumen and ability to identify, assess, and mitigate potential financial and business risks.
• Fluent in Spanish and business level of English.
