Job Description
An exciting opportunity to lead the development and delivery of marketing and communications initiatives for one of Western Australia's most recognised public sector organisations. As the Marketing and Communications Manager, you will coordinate and implement strategic marketing programs, campaigns and promotional activities across the PTA, Transperth and Transwa brands.
You will be responsible for developing and evaluating integrated marketing and communication strategies, overseeing major advertising campaigns, publications, online promotions and digital platforms. The role also plays a key part in ensuring consistent branding and messaging across all communication channels while identifying opportunities to enhance customer engagement and promote the benefits of public transport.
Working closely with internal stakeholders, external agencies and service providers, you will manage complex contractual arrangements, monitor campaign effectiveness and provide strategic advice to senior leaders. You will also lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals, fostering innovation, collaboration and a culture of high performance.
About You!
To excel in this role, you should possess:
- Tertiary qualifications in marketing, communications, advertising or a related discipline, with significant experience delivering integrated marketing and communication campaigns.
- Demonstrated success in planning, implementing and evaluating behaviour change, education and promotional campaigns that deliver measurable outcomes.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, mentor and develop high‑performing teams.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement, communication and influencing skills, with experience managing complex relationships and negotiations.
- Experience managing advertising agencies, suppliers and external service providers, with the ability to deliver high‑quality marketing and communication outcomes.
- Proven expertise in digital communications, website and social media management, supported by a strong focus on campaign performance analysis, reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.

There is one permanent full-time opportunity available for an immediate start. Applicants assessed as suitable through this process may be used to fill similar vacancies both fixed term and permanent that may arise within the next 12 months.
