Project Info

The Southern Program Alliance is delivering a $3.5billion program to remove level crossings and upgrade rail infrastructure across Melbourne’s south‑east. ACCIONA, alongside WSP and Metro Trains Melbourne, is building new stations, bridges and stabling facilities, transforming safety and connectivity for local communities along the Frankston Line.

About Opportunity

Reporting to the Quality Systems and Completions Manager, you will lead quality and completions delivery across an allocated Area Work Package. You will ensure compliance with the SPA Quality Management Plan, project specifications and AS/NZS ISO9001, driving right‑first‑time outcomes from design through to handover. You will lead and develop the project quality team, oversee inspection and test plans, and build strong working relationships across engineering, construction, HSE and project controls.

Key Accountabilities

• Own quality and completions outcomes across your AWP
• Lead, coach and develop the project quality team
• Drive a proactive, right‑first‑time quality cultureOversee ITPs and verify hold and witness points
• Manage NCRs, defects and root cause analysis
• Deliver a risk‑based audit program and close out findings
• Report quality metrics and manage the Quality Risk Register

Required Skills and Competencies

• Extensive experience in major infrastructure or rail projects
• Background leading quality teams and quality systems
• Degree in Quality Management or related field
• Valid Construction Induction Card (White Card)
• Current driver licence and reliable vehicle
