Senior Solution Engineer

Responsibilities Support application teams to migrate from legacy deployment approaches (Jenkins, RLM, or manual) to scalable GitHub Actions-based CI/CD solutions. Troubleshoot and resolve DevOps‑related issues across complex pipelines and integration points. Create, debug, and maintain CI/CD pipeline stages and workflows, including POM and Settings files from scratch for various build systems (Maven, NPM, PyPi, .NET, MSBuild).

Implement and configure automation for successful integration, write and maintain GitHub Actions workflows, runners, and execution environments. Configure and troubleshoot CI/CD tools such as Artifactory, SonarQube, Terraform, UCD, Ansible, and build systems. Manage containerization workflows with Docker, including Dockerfile creation and image build/scan processes.

Deploy and troubleshoot Kubernetes resources (clusters, namespaces, PV/PVC, Helm charts, kubectl deployments) and resolve pod, logs, and node issues. Collaborate with application teams, provide technical guidance, and act as a trusted partner in modernizing DevOps practices. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience, or an IT diploma.

Hands‑on experience with CI/CD pipelines and debugging pipeline stages. Strong understanding of build systems and project types (Maven, NPM, PyPi, .NET, MSBuild). Experience creating POM and Settings files from scratch.

Proficient with GitHub Actions, including workflow configuration, runners, and execution. Hands‑on experience with DevOps tools: Jenkins (Declarative, Multibranch, Maven pipelines), GitOps, Artifactory, SonarQube, Terraform, UCD, Ansible. Docker containerization skills including Dockerfile creation and image management.

Experience with Kubernetes (clusters, namespaces, PV/PVC, Helm charts, kubectl deployments) and troubleshooting. Knowledge of CI/CD in NPM or NuGet, Groovy pipeline scripting, and Agile tools (JIRA, ServiceNow) is a plus. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in an Agile environment.

Experience scripting with Groovy, Shell, or Python. Benefits Base salary range (Halifax, NS): CAD $90,000–$95,000 per year. 15 days (3 weeks) of paid annual leave plus an additional 10 days of personal leave.
