Job Description
Your Role In a nutshell, you’ll be working on a wide range of projects as a Senior Structural Engineer and have the following experience: Concrete frame, steel frame, medium to high‑rise design, and existing structures, working across sectors such as residential, commercial, refurbishment, and industrial. Using software to assist with calculations and structural design such as MasterSeries, SCIA, or Strand7. Skilled at preparing, detailing, and reviewing drawings; supervising CAD Technicians in the preparation of these drawings.
Assisting in the preparation of design quotes, writing reports and technical specifications. Supervising, mentoring, and checking work for graduates, engineers, and technicians. Working collaboratively with engineers in other disciplines such as geotechnical and civil/infrastructure design.
Attending client and project meetings to build relationships and discuss their needs, requirements, and any design issues. You We are looking for our next Senior Structural Engineer to have a Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Civil/Structural engineering (or equivalent) with a minimum of 5 years post‑graduate experience. You could be Chartered or working towards chartered status with ICE or IStructE.
You will have hands‑on design experience and the ability to work on multiple projects at one time with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
