Plumbing Design Engineer Company: Mclin Aqua Consultants LLP Location: Pune (Work from Office) Experience: 2 – 7 Years Job Purpose We are seeking a focused and detail-oriented Plumbing Design Engineer with 2 to 7 years of hands-on drafting experience. In this role, you will be responsible for translating design concepts into precise, high-quality technical drawings for residential societies, townships, and commercial projects. This role is dedicated to technical execution and drafting production using AutoCAD.
Key Responsibilities Detailed Drafting: Prepare comprehensive, construction-ready drawings for plumbing, fire fighting, drainage, and water supply systems. Project Layouts: Develop schematic diagrams, layout drawings, and shop drawings for residential townships and commercial complexes. Technical Compliance: Ensure all drafting work aligns with relevant standards, local municipal codes, and National Building Code (NBC) guidelines.
Revisions & Updates: Incorporate design modifications into drawings accurately and maintain organized version control across ongoing projects. Internal Coordination: Work closely with project engineers and consultants to convert design requirements into functional layouts. Site Verification: Conduct occasional site visits to cross-verify physical site conditions against layouts for drafting accuracy.
Requirements & Qualifications Experience: 2–7 years of dedicated experience in plumbing and fire protection drafting. Software Skills: AutoCAD: Strong, hands-on proficiency is mandatory Revit: Knowledge or experience in Revit is a strong advantage , but not mandatory. Domain Knowledge: Good understanding of water distribution layouts, gravity drainage, rainwater harvesting, and fire hydrant/sprinkler detailing.
Project Exposure: Prior experience working on residential buildings, townships, or commercial layouts. Education: ITI Draftsman / Diploma in Civil or Mechanical Engineering. Work Details Working Hours: 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM Weekly Offs: 2nd & 4th Saturday + All Sundays
