Job Title: Electronics Design Engineer Location: Sahajanand Laser Technology Ltd. โ Gandhinagar Department: R&D / Electronics Design Experience: 2 โ 6 Years Job Summary We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Electronics Design Engineer with strong expertise in schematic design and electronic circuit development. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and validating electronic circuits for industrial and laser-based systems. The role requires hands-on experience in schematic creation, component selection, PCB coordination, testing, and troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities Design and develop analog and digital electronic schematics for industrial products and embedded systems. Work extensively on circuit design, schematic capture, and component selection. Develop power supply circuits, signal conditioning circuits, interface circuits, and controller-based designs.
Coordinate with PCB layout engineers for multilayer PCB development and routing optimization. Perform circuit simulation, validation, and debugging during prototype development. Troubleshoot hardware issues and support product testing activities.
Prepare BOM, design documentation, circuit diagrams, and engineering reports. Work closely with firmware, mechanical, and production teams for product integration. Ensure compliance with design standards, EMI/EMC considerations, and manufacturing feasibility.
Support product improvement and cost optimization initiatives. Required Skills Strong knowledge of electronic schematic design and circuit development. Hands-on experience with schematic design tools such as Altium Designer, OrCAD, KiCad, Eagle, or similar.
Good understanding of analog and digital electronics. Knowledge of microcontrollers, communication protocols (UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, RS485, etc.). Experience in power electronics and SMPS design will be an added advantage.
Understanding of PCB design concepts and hardware debugging tools. Familiarity with oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers, and testing equipment. Ability to read datasheets and perform component-level analysis.
