Cost Engineer – Major Infrastructure Programme £470 per day London (hybrid working) Contract role We’re supporting a major infrastructure programme in London and are looking for an experienced Cost Engineer to take ownership of cost management across a complex delivery environment. This is a senior role with real influence — not just reporting, but shaping cost control, forecasting, and decision-making. Key Responsibilities Lead cost management across the programme or key workstreams Develop and maintain cost plans, forecasts, and cost reports Manage change control, trends, and cost risk Interface with project controls, commercial, and delivery teams Provide clear cost insight to senior stakeholders Ideal Background Proven experience as a Cost Engineer on large infrastructure projects Strong forecasting, cost control, and reporting capability Comfortable working in complex, multi-stakeholder environments Infrastructure, energy, transport, or regulated sector experience preferred
