Revenue Specialist

WE ARE HIRING: Manager / Senior Zuora Revenue Recognition Consultant A premier global professional services firm is seeking an experienced professional to join its practice. This role provides high-value advisory and technical solutions to help businesses adapt to shifting financial standards and operational needs. Position: Manager / Senior Zuora Revenue Recognition Consultant Notice Period: Immediate Joiner Preferred Role Summary In this role, you will drive end-to-end Zuora Revenue Recognition initiatives.

Your responsibilities will bridge the gap between finance and technology, spanning requirements gathering, system configuration, data migration, post-go-live stabilization, and data analytics. Key Responsibilities Lifecycle Management: Lead and support Zuora Revenue Recognition implementation and stabilization activities across the entire project lifecycle. Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner directly with Finance, Revenue Accounting, IT, and business stakeholders to gather and document requirements.

System Configuration: Configure the Zuora Revenue Recognition platform based on specialized business requirements and approved solution designs. Data & Migration: Oversee data preparation, data mapping, validation, reconciliation, and system migration activities. Testing & QA: Prepare and execute test scenarios for unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), regression testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

Defect & Incident Resolution: Analyze and resolve system defects during testing, and provide production support including root cause analysis. Integration Support: Understand, manage, and optimize data flows and integrations between Zuora, CRM applications, and ERP systems. Reporting & Insights: Utilize Zuora Revenue Analytics to build robust revenue reporting, functional dashboards, and business insights.

Requirements & Qualifications Mandatory Skills Experience: 6 to 10 years of dedicated experience in revenue recognition systems, finance systems, or enterprise application implementation. Platform Expertise: Hands-on implementation and production support experience explicitly with Zuora Revenue Recognition. Accounting Standards: A solid basic understanding of ASC 606 and IFRS 15 revenue recognition standards.

Technical Lifecycle: Working knowledge of incident management, defect resolution, enhancement intake, and release support processes. Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification. Preferred Skills Certifications: Formal Zuora Revenue Recognition training or certification is highly preferred.

Data Tools: Working knowledge of SQL or related reporting and data analysis tools. Compliance: Exposure to financial controls, SOX-compliant environments, and supporting period-end revenue accounting activities.
