Software Engineering Manager - Vancouver, Canada (Hybrid) - Up to $180K + Bonus + Equity TogetherWeTech is hiring a Software Engineering Manager at a global technology company that builds advanced video security, AI, and software platforms to help protect people, property, and places. As a Software Engineering Manager, you will lead a high-performing Scrum team focused on large-scale software applications for on-premises video security products. You will manage, mentor, and support a team of engineers while staying close enough to the technology to guide system design, code quality, architecture discussions, and delivery.

Key Requirements and Responsibilities Experience managing software engineering teams of around 8 to 10 engineers Strong technical background, ideally with previous hands‑on experience in C++ or C# Ability to understand code, system design, and architecture discussions Experience leading Scrum teams in an Agile engineering environment Strong people management, mentoring, and performance coaching skills Ability to partner closely with architects and senior developers on code quality Exposure to cloud platforms such as GCP or Azure would be beneficial Understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, DevOps, or CI/CD environments would be a plus Comfortable balancing people leadership with technical accountability If you are an engineering leader who enjoys developing people, staying close to the technology, and helping teams build complex software products with real-world impact, we would love to hear from you. #J-18808-Ljbffr
