CPKC Accounting Policy Expert Manager

Become an Accounting Policy Manager at CPKC, bringing your CPA skills to ensure compliance and accuracy in financial reporting for North America’s leading transnational railroad. Your role will be central to maintaining our accounting integrity. In this role, you'll report to the Director of Accounting Policy and oversee all aspects of CPKC’s accounting compliance with financial regulations.

You will provide guidance on complex transactions, coordinate with finance teams, and ensure timely updates to accounting policies according to regulatory changes. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and manage the Accounting Policy work plan • Stay current on U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting changes • Conduct thorough research on complex accounting transactions • Facilitate collaboration between Finance and various teams • Direct the quarterly process for significant contract reviews Requirements: • CPA with 7+ years in accounting and financial reporting • Background in a public company or consulting environment • Expertise in technical accounting of complex contracts • Exceptional research and analytical skills • Ability to articulate complex topics to varied audiences Leverage your accounting expertise at CPKC to ensure clarity and compliance in financial reporting. #J-18808-Ljbffr
