Consultant in Sexual & Reproductive Health We are 4 Day Week employer Purpose of the role We are seeking a Consultant in Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) to join Brook’s new Integrated Sexual Health Service in Sefton. This is an exciting opportunity to provide medical leadership for an experienced team in delivering free, confidential, and non‑judgemental support for people of all ages. Part time sessional work considered.
Essential criteria At least 4 years’ experience in SRH Contraception skills and experience (DFSRH) (desirable) Experience of working as an effective member of a multidisciplinary team Confident in, and with experience of, fitting IUD/IUS and/or implants, including Letters of Competence (desirable) Experience of working in a sensitive, confidential, and non‑judgmental way with clients from diverse backgrounds, and a commitment to maintaining strict confidentiality of Brook service users Experience of contributing to and promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion in a work environment and with a diverse range of clients Qualifications and Training Full registration with the GMC Certificate of membership of a medical defence organisation Inclusion on the Specialist Register, or eligible for inclusion within 6 months of interview date MB ChB or equivalent MRCP or equivalent Diploma in Genitourinary Medicine or equivalent Diploma of the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare (DFSRH) or equivalent Letter of Competence for Intrauterine Contraception and Subdermal Implants Postgraduate Medical Teaching Qualification To learn more about the role and person specification please read the attached ‘role specification’ which can be found on the application form.
