Consultant Gynaecologist - Advanced Laparoscopic Surgeon Employer: Liverpool Women's NHS Foundation Trust Location: Liverpool, L8 7SS Contract Type: Permanent Hours: Full time Closing Date: 28/06/2026 Responsibilities Perform advanced laparoscopic surgery in gynaecology as part of the Consultant Endometriosis Team. Participate in the regular endometriosis MDT meetings and joint operating lists with colorectal and urological surgeons. Contribute to the development of new pathways and support senior management in shaping the future strategy of the gynaecology service within a specialist tertiary centre.

Take part in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching programmes; a demonstrable interest in education would be an advantage and an honorary clinical lectureship may be offered by the University of Liverpool. Commit to on‑call duties approximately 1 in 11 for gynaecology (obstetrics only in exceptional emergencies) and support the two‑tier gynaecology rota. Qualifications and Experience Relevant clinical experience and qualifications in gynaecology and advanced laparoscopic surgery; experience in teaching and a demonstrable interest in education is advantageous. #J-18808-Ljbffr
