Job Description

This is a full-time, on-site Sponsorship Sales Specialist role based in South Delhi with travel required across India. The Sponsorship Sales Specialist will identify, research, and approach potential sponsors across IT & tech solution providers, banks, corporations, and other organisations aligned with the Forum’s programs and events. The role involves developing tailored sponsorship and promotion proposals, conducting sales presentations, negotiating terms, and closing sponsorship agreements that support events, initiatives, and long-term partnerships.

The specialist will manage the sponsorship pipeline, track leads and conversions, maintain accurate records in CRM tools, and ensure timely follow-ups and renewals. Day-to-day activities also include coordinating with internal teams on sponsorship deliverables, preparing reports on performance and revenue, and representing the Forum at meetings, events, and networking opportunities. Qualifications Proven experience in Sponsorship Sales and Sponsorship management, with a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.

Strong Sales and Lead Generation skills, including prospecting, pipeline management, and closing new business. Excellent Communication skills, including the ability to create persuasive proposals, deliver clear presentations, and build long-term stakeholder relationships. Experience in B2B sales, partnerships, or fundraising within events, non-profit, association, or media environments is highly desirable.

Ability to work independently, prioritise multiple opportunities, and thrive in a target-driven, fast-paced setting. Comfort with basic office productivity tools for tracking, reporting, and documentation. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Interest in entrepreneurship, MSME development, and ecosystem building within India is a strong advantage.
