Position: Internet Sales Manager Dealership: Kia of Hamilton Location: Hamilton, ON Classification: Full Time, Immediate Hire Job Overview: You will be responsible for executing sales objectives for both new and pre-owned vehicles while developing and implementing effective sales plans for your team. Key tasks include monitoring performance metrics, converting leads to sales, and enhancing client relationships to strengthen the dealership's market presence. You will also focus on team development, ensuring compliance with company policies, and promoting a safe work environment.
Responsibilities Manage and oversee all online sales activities for the dealership Respond to leads from the dealership's website, third-party platforms, and social media Develop strategies to generate and convert leads into sales Communicate with customers via email, chat, text, and phone throughout the sales process Coordinate test drives, appointments, and follow‑up communication with customers Implement digital marketing campaigns to drive traffic and visibility for the dealership Work with the marketing team to ensure consistent online presence and branding Track and report sales performance, including lead conversion and revenue metrics Lead and train the internet sales team to improve sales performance and customer service Handle customer complaints and concerns from online interactions to ensure satisfaction Ensure online inventory is accurate and up‑to‑date on the dealership’s website Collaborate with in‑store sales teams to ensure a seamless transition from online to in‑person sales Qualifications A minimum of 3-5 years of automotive dealership sales management experience Post‑Secondary education in a related discipline (considered an asset) Experience in a leadership role Strong understanding of dealership accounting practices, budgeting and expense management Professional and exceptional client service delivery Excellent people management skills (leadership, team development, interpersonal, coaching, mentoring, supervisory) Diplomacy, negotiation and conflict‑resolution skills Excellent verbal and written communication and ability to engage senior leadership and decision‑makers Strong organizational and time‑management skills Ability to manage priorities, perform various tasks, and meet deadlines and targets High integrity, trusted by others, honoring commitments Detail oriented, self‑motivated, resourceful Results‑driven, entrepreneurial spirit and strong desire for success Experience using CRM systems or automotive software systems (asset) Knowledge of Provincial Safety code requirements for dealerships Benefits Competitive Compensation and Benefits Package Employee Vehicle Purchase & Service Plans Employee and Family Assistance Programs Company‑wide appreciation events and contests throughout the year Professional development and career growth opportunities We strive every day to create a workplace culture that embraces diversity and inclusivity, ensures fairness and equal opportunities, and fosters a sense of belonging for all Team Members.
