About the opportunity Our client is a fast-growing US-based brand operating in the foodservice industry. They're working with restaurant operators, distributors, and industry partners, and demand is growing faster than the current team can support.
You'll handle incoming enquiries, qualify opportunities, follow up on warm leads, support existing accounts, and help ensure important conversations progress toward the right next step. You'll also play an important role in building the processes that keep customer and sales communication organised as the business scales. What you will do Serve as the first point of contact for incoming customer enquiries, sample requests, and lead submissions, ensuring every conversation receives timely and professional follow-up.
Follow up with warm leads and active opportunities, qualify interest, gather relevant information, and help move opportunities toward meetings and next steps. Independently manage routine prospect and customer conversations over email and phone, handling questions, follow-ups, and basic objections professionally. Work closely with senior leadership to ensure important customer relationships, enquiries, and opportunities don't fall through the cracks.
Keep customer and sales conversations organised, maintaining clear records and ensuring the right information reaches the right people at the right time. Help build the systems, workflows, and customer support processes that will support the next stage of the company's growth. Who we are looking for You've spent 3+ years in inside sales, outbound sales, sales support, or another customer-facing role that involves regular prospect or customer communication.
You've handled inbound enquiries, lead qualification, and prospect follow-up, and are comfortable managing multiple customer and prospect conversations while guiding them toward a clear next step. You've worked with CRM systems, customer support platforms, or structured workflows to track communication and keep opportunities moving. You're comfortable following up persistently, handling routine objections, and keeping opportunities moving without needing constant direction.
You're comfortable working from established processes while also helping improve them as the business grows. You're organised, responsive, and dependable, with strong attention to detail and follow-through. Bonus points if you have Experience in consumer brands, food, beverage, CPG, or FMCG.
Experience working with distributors, samples, or customer-facing logistics. Familiarity with CRM tools, shared inboxes, or structured follow-up workflows.
