Position Objective The Sales Engineer Apprentice will assist the sales team in promoting and selling Veiga's fire detection solutions.

The role offers practical exposure to technical sales, customer relationship management, market development, proposal preparation, and project coordination. It also provides an opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge of fire safety systems, industry standards, and sales processes. Roles and Responsibilities Identify potential projects, consultants, contractors, and end users.

Develop understanding of Veiga products, systems, and solutions. Conduct market research and competitor analysis. Assist the sales team in identifying new business opportunities and potential customers.

Maintain customer databases, sales records, and opportunity trackers. Follow up with customers regarding inquiries, quotations, and project requirements. Support participation in exhibitions, seminars, and customer events.

Coordinate with engineering and operations teams for technical clarifications. Support site surveys and customer requirement assessments when required. Qualification MBA/PGDM (Marketing) graduates or pursuing Skills & Competencies Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Basic technical aptitude and willingness to learn fire safety systems. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Customer-focused attitude with a proactive approach. Training & Development The apprentice will receive structured training on: Fire detection and alarm systems Technical sales processes Customer relationship management Tendering and proposal preparation Industry standards and regulatory requirements
