Job Description
Description As a Content Management Specialist, you will be responsible for managing, updating, and maintaining content within an enterprise-level CMS environment. You will work closely with business stakeholders, developers, QA teams, and project managers to ensure accurate, engaging, and user-friendly digital experiences across SharePoint sites and portals. What You Will Do: Create, update, and manage pages, document libraries, lists, and site content within enterprise CMS environments.
Build and maintain digital experiences using out-of-the-box components, custom components, and templates Gain a strong understanding of CMS architecture, navigation, permissions, workflows, and content governance. Ensure content consistency, usability, accessibility, and adherence to organizational standards. Provide effort estimates for content migration, updates, and maintenance activities for planning and scheduling purposes.
Collaborate with QA teams to validate content accuracy, formatting, links, and functionality. Work with developers and administrators to troubleshoot and resolve content issues, defects, and bugs. Support ongoing production maintenance activities including content publishing, archival, and updates.
Review and validate work completed by team members to ensure quality, accuracy, and production readiness. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support intranet, collaboration, and document management initiatives. Qualifications: Hands-on experience with CMS platforms such as Optimizely, Sitecore, Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), or similar platforms, including content.
Hands-on experience with enterprise CMS platforms such as Optimizely, Sitecore, Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), including content authoring, publishing workflows, and digital experience management, is highly preferred. Experience working with Spark Accelerator is good to have. Understanding of content management best practices, permissions, workflows, templates, and governance.
Experience with content migration and governance practices is a plus. Familiarity with digital asset management (DAM) systems and content publishing processes is preferred. Experience with Atlassian tools such as JIRA and Confluence is a plus.
Knowledge of SDLC and Agile methodologies. Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive web design principles. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under tight deadlines. A self-directed individual who operates with urgency, focus, and discipline. Hands-on, dependable, and committed to delivering high-quality work.
