Position Summary

The Yard Associate is an entry-level position designed for individuals ready to join a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Your primary responsibility will be to assist with the efficient flow of materials, maintaining a clean and safe yard while supporting inventory management. This role offers hands-on experience and opportunities for growth within our company.

Key Responsibilities

• Material Handling: Load and unload trucks using forklifts or other equipment, ensuring products are handled safely and efficiently.
  

• Order Fulfillment: Prepare orders for dispatch by accurately selecting and organizing materials based on customer requirements.
  

• Inventory Management: Assist in organizing and maintaining inventory to ensure accurate stock levels and proper storage of materials.
  

• Yard Maintenance: Keep the yard clean, safe, and organized by performing routine maintenance and adhering to safety standards.
  

• Equipment Operation: Safely operate forklifts, loaders, and other yard equipment following company guidelines and training.
  

• Collaboration: Work closely with the operations and sales teams to meet customer needs and ensure timely deliveries.
  

Requirements

· What We’re Looking For

• Education & Experience:
  

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
  

• Prior experience in a warehouse or yard environment is a plus, but not required.
  

• Skills & Qualifications:
  

• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks.
  

• Familiarity with forklifts or willingness to obtain forklift certification (training provided).
  

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  

• Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated with a team-oriented mindset.
  

• Commitment to workplace safety and compliance with company policies.
