Workshop Controller - Jaguar Land Rover

Donnelly Group is hiring an experienced Workshop Controller to join our Jaguar Land Rover team. Working within a busy and successful dealership, this is an excellent opportunity to take on a key leadership role, supporting our workshop team and helping to deliver high standards of performance, quality and customer service.

About This Role

Manage the workshop workload and allocate jobs to Technicians to maximise productivity and customer satisfaction.

Ensure vehicles complete the eVHC process and support Service Advisors with additional work requirements, costs and timings.

Monitor repairs to ensure all work is completed correctly, efficiently and Right First Time.

Identify warranty repairs and obtain authorisation where required.

Support Technicians with complex technical issues, escalating where necessary.

Keep Service Advisors updated on repair progress and any additional work identified.

Ensure Repair Orders/Job Cards are accurate, complete and suitable for customer explanations and warranty claims.

Carry out quality control checks, including road tests where required.

Maintain high standards of health, safety and environmental compliance.

Ensure completed vehicles are prepared and ready for customer collection.

The Person

Ideally qualified to Master Technician level with previous supervisory or workshop management experience.

Must have at least 3 - 4 years experience, ideally within a franchised workshop.

A full UK driving licence is essential.
