Website and Digital Marketing Executive, 15 month contract

An exciting opportunity has now arisen to join the Digital Marketing Teamfor a specific purpose 15-month contract in the role Website and Digital Marketing Executive.
The Website and Digital Marketing Executive will take a lead role in the management, optimisation and continuous improvement of the organisation’s website, with a strong focus on user experience, engagement, lead generation and digital performance.
The Role
This is a hands-on, digitally focused position suited to an experienced website professional who is comfortable managing a substantial online presence and working across multiple stakeholders and projects.
You will:
- Take responsibility for the day-to-day management, performance, security and optimisation of the organisation’s website.
- Apply SEO best practice and manage PPC activity to improve visibility, engagement and lead generation.
- Support content editors across the organisation, troubleshooting website issues and ensuring high-quality content publishing.
- Deliver CMS training and provide ongoing guidance and support to website content owners.
- Lead and coordinate web projects, working with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Support the development of business cases for new web projects and contribute to risk and governance processes.
- Use GA4 and web analytics to monitor performance, identify trends and provide actionable recommendations to improve user experience.
- Work closely with the Marketing Campaigns team to ensure digital campaigns are effectively tracked and measured.
- Keep up to date with emerging digital technologies, accessibility, data protection and web best practice.
- Build strong relationships across the organisation and work collaboratively with colleagues, suppliers and multidisciplinary teams.
What You'll Need
- 3+ years’ directly relevant experience managing a substantial website or online presence for a large organisation.
- Strong expertise in website management and CMS platforms, including high-quality content publishing and web governance.
- Strong knowledge of SEO, PPC, web analytics and digital performance optimisation.
- Proven experience using GA4 for analysis, reporting and insight generation.
- Demonstrable project management experience, including managing scope, timelines, risks, costs and quality.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills.
- A proactive approach with the ability to take ownership and work independently.
- A Level 8 degree or higher in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Web Design/Development or a related discipline.
- Desirable: Experience with Drupal (please note same on applications), people management, customer experience, public-sector environments or the Irish language.
