Job Overview:
The Warehouse & Wash Operative role is responsible for ensuring the efficient cleaning, inspection and preparation of reusable cups to ensure the Company meets customer requirements. The role is primarily focused on operating within the wash centre, maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and quality control, while also providing support to warehouse operations as required. This includes handling stock, preparing orders, loading and unloading deliveries, and maintaining a safe, organised and productive working environment.
The postholder will play a key role in ensuring reusable products are processed accurately, safely and efficiently to meet customer demand and operational targets.
Key Responsibilities
Working within a small team of Wash Operatives to complete the daily wash schedule.
Working on an Industrial Glass washing machine and packing finished clean products accurately and efficiently back into storage crates.
Maintaining a clean, tidy, and organised warehouse.
Loading and offloading of vehicles.
Attention to detail and accuracy are vital within this role.
In busy periods or holiday cover there may be a need to support and deliver cups in a 3.5 ton van to sports and festival venues in Scotland.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
At least 2 years working in warehouse and or logistics environment.
Good standard of education at GCSE including Maths and English
Excellent communications skills, both written and orally.
Strong numerical skills.
Great organisational skills and attention to detail.
A positive attitude and a willing to learn more skills on the job.
Experience in fast paced warehouse or manufacturing environment and used to picking, packing & stock management.
Experience driving and delivering goods.
Full and clean UK driving license essential
Willingness to work across a variety of different jobs within the warehouse
