Position Summary
The Warehouse Team Lead is responsible for achieving the prescribed company objectives for safety, efficiency, quality, inventory accuracy and customer service. Particular emphasis is placed on the guidance of warehouse team members and working according to operational action plans specific to receiving, warehousing and shipping product in a manner consistent with company service and cost objectives.

What you will do
- Meet customer service expectations
- Train and monitor employees including performance, conduct, and work quality
- Ensure the warehouse space is used efficiently and make any changes to the storage profile, in line with customer expectations
- Ensure productivity expectations are being met
- Ensure inventory accuracy and efficient space utilization through training of warehouse staff
- Process receipts and orders in the WMS in the absence of the CSR and Supervisor
- Communicate unforeseen warehouse events impacting service to the CSR and to the customer
What You’ll Bring
- 6 months up to 1 year of Lead Hand experience
- Up to 5 years of experience in a warehouse setting
- High school diploma
- Knowledge of warehouse best practices
- Knowledge of Distribution Centre operations, warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Knowledge of occupational health & safety requirements
- Experience with inventory control and RF devices
Skills & Competencies
- Reliable self-starter capable of working alone
- Must be able to lead staff to meet customer demands and company objectives
- Must be capable of applying effective communication skills orally and in writing
- Must have proven analytical and problem‑solving skills
