Role Overview The B2B Solar Technical Support & Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for providing technical assistance and product support to business customers, installers, contractors, and commercial clients. The role involves troubleshooting solar PV systems, assisting with product selection, resolving technical queries, and supporting customers throughout the installation and post-installation process. The successful candidate will act as a key point of contact for technical enquiries and will work closely with the sales, operations, and installation teams to ensure excellent customer service and project delivery.

Key Responsibilities Provide first-line technical support to B2B Clients, installers, and solar contractors. Respond to technical enquiries relating to solar PV systems, inverters, batteries, EV chargers, and associated renewable energy products. Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment, system performance, and installation issues.

Assist customers in identifying suitable solar and renewable energy solutions based on project requirements. Support installers during the commissioning and operational stages of solar installations. Deliver product and technical guidance to customers before, during, and after installation.

Liaise with manufacturers and suppliers to resolve technical issues and warranty-related matters. Maintain accurate records of customer enquiries, support cases, and resolutions. Work collaboratively with the sales team to provide technical input for customer proposals and quotations.

Stay informed of industry developments, emerging technologies, and product updates within the renewable energy sector. Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with company procedures, health and safety requirements, and industry standards. Provide a high level of customer service while maintaining professional communication with clients and stakeholders.

Manage the daily Solar operations of the warehouse and distribution activities. Oversee the receipt, storage, handling, and dispatch of Solar products. Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy through regular stock checks and control procedures.

Coordinate deliveries and collections to ensure timely customer service. Maintain warehouse organisation and ensure products are stored safely and efficiently. Supervise warehouse staff and allocate daily tasks where required.

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company procedures. Identify opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency and productivity. Manage stock replenishment and coordinate purchasing requirements with suppliers.

Essential Requirements Previous experience in a solar energy, renewable energy, or technical support environment. Strong understanding of solar PV systems and related renewable energy technologies. Experience providing customer-facing technical support.

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to customers and non-technical stakeholders. Strong organisational and administrative skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems. Desirable Requirements Experience supporting commercial and residential solar installations. Knowledge of battery storage systems and EV charging solutions.

Previous experience working with solar distributors, installers, or renewable energy companies. Relevant renewable energy, electrical, or technical training certifications.
