As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will lead afternoon supervisory tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of ingredient handling across various temperature environments, including fridges, freezers, and warm rooms. You will follow work orders to prepare for the next day's activities, manage shipping and receiving, and load products onto trailers. The role involves moving raw materials and finished products to shipping doors and requires the ability to lift 50lbs repeatedly during palletizing.

Responsibilities

• Lead afternoon supervisory tasks in the warehouse.
• Handle ingredients in diverse temperature environments, such as fridges, freezers, and warm rooms.
• Follow work orders to prepare for the next day's operations.
• Lift and palletize items weighing up to 50lbs repeatedly.
• Manage shipping and receiving processes.
• Load products onto trailers and move materials to shipping doors.

Essential Skills

• 5+ years of warehouse supervisory experience.
• Forklift and walkie forklift certification.
• Experience with shipping and receiving.
• Ability to lift 50lbs.
• ERP experience.
• Inventory control and warehouse management skills.
• Proficiency in RF scanner and pallet jack operations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 3+ years of forklift experience with external certification.
• Nice to have: GMP experience and AZ license.

Work Environment

Work in a smaller, clean facility where granola bars with nuts are produced, providing a chocolate and caramel-scented atmosphere. The facility follows strict GMP standards, and candidates must not have peanut allergies. During summer, the facility can be warm but is otherwise temperature-controlled.

Warehouse aisles are tighter, requiring cautious forklift operation. PPE requirements include long-sleeved lab coats, hair nets, steel toe shoes, gloves, and no jewelry or fake eyelashes. The second shift runs from 3pm to 11pm.

This is a Permanent position based out of Markham, ON.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $75000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
