WAREHOUSE STOREPERSON

Vandoros Imports is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Storeperson to join our team at our Artarmon facility in New South Wales. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency and organisation of our warehouse operations. As a Warehouse Storeperson, you will be responsible for the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, ensuring that our inventory is managed accurately and that all warehouse operations run smoothly.

This position is fundamental to supporting our logistics and distribution operations, directly contributing to customer satisfaction and business success.

Key responsibilities

• Receiving and checking goods upon arrival, verifying quantities, quality and accuracy against delivery documents
• Storing merchandise in designated locations.
• Picking, packing and preparing orders for dispatch.
• Operating warehouse equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks and other material handling devices safely and efficiently
• Maintaining accurate records of stock movements, inventory levels and warehouse transactions
• Conducting regular stock counts and reconciliation to ensure inventory accuracy
• Keeping the warehouse clean, organised and safe in compliance with health and safety regulations
• Assisting with loading and unloading of delivery vehicles as required
• Following established warehouse procedures and best practices to minimise damage and loss
• Communicating effectively with team members and management regarding stock issues and operational concerns

What we're looking for

• Proven experience working in a warehouse
• Forklift licence would be an advantage but not essential
• Proficiency in operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks or pallet jacks, with relevant certifications where applicable
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately process inventory and order information
• Physical capability to lift, carry and move goods regularly, with the ability to work in varying warehouse conditions
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• A commitment to health and safety practices and the ability to work safely
• Reliability and punctuality with a strong work ethic
