Warehouse Assistant

What You Will Be Doing

Our client is seeking a reliable and experienced Warehouse Assistant to join their team in Burleigh Heads in a long-term role. The successful applicant will be required to work Monday to Friday, 6am-2pm.

In this position you will be:

• Pick items from shelves or pallets based on order sheets
• Ensure accurate picking of stock verifying quantities and items to minimize mistakes
• Pack items securely and appropriately to prevent damages during transport
• Label packages accurately with shipping information
• Utilise packing materials efficiently to minimise waste and reduce costs
• Responsible for meeting and exceeding key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the warehouse and packing area.
• Assist in inventory management tasks such as occasional stocktakes
• Collaborate with other team members to prioritise orders and meet deadlines
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries

What You Will Need

• Drivers Licence & reliable transport
• Previous experience in warehousing environments
• Strong attention to detail
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable & punctual
