Warehouse Stock Controller

Alison Gray Recruitment are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established company for a Warehouse Stock Controller to join their growing team in East Belfast!

• Pay:£17.53 per hour
• Hours:Monday - Friday 8am - 4:40pm, flexibility required

Your New Day to Day:

• Lead, supervise, train, and motivate the components team to achieve daily operational targets.
• Monitor team performance and conduct regular performance reviews and team meetings.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and health and safety procedures.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and oversee stock control, including cycle counts and stock takes.
• Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies, ensuring correct storage, labelling, and stock rotation.
• Coordinate the receipt, storage, and distribution of components to support production.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse while ensuring accurate inventory movements.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and support the implementation of warehouse best practices.
• Promote a strong health and safety culture by ensuring safe material handling, reporting hazards, and complying with all relevant regulations.

What You Can Bring:

• Experience using SAP or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Previous experience in stock control, inventory management, or warehouse operations.
• Experience leading or supervising a warehouse or stores team.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and stock control procedures.
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Competent in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
