JobRequirements

• ExperienceRequired: 0 to 6 months
• Education Desired: Highschool diploma or equivalent
• LiftingRequirement: Up to 100 pounds
• Age Requirement:At least 18 years ofage

JobResponsibilities

• Ensure all qualityand safety processes are followed including, but not limited to:maintaining pallet integrity, ensuring trailers are properlysecured to dock-lock chock, and monitoring for mis-slotted ormis-rotated merchandise.
• Move palletizedproduct, using pallet jack to safely maneuver stock, from stagingarea into tractor trailer and/or put in storelocations.
• Lift & carry cases of up to 100lbs. from pick slots and place them onto pallets;
  cases must belifted from floor level, shoulder level &overhead.
• Record and log applicableinformation on appropriate logs on the frontdock.
• Clean and sweep out trailers prior toloading product.
• Have flexibility inscheduling & availability to work the times, shifts, days andovertime as necessary to meet the company’sneeds.
• Meet and maintain productivitystandards.
• Accurately select product bymatching slot numbers and product descriptions using avoice-activated warehouse management system.
• Receive incoming freight into the distributioncenter.
• Compare shipping documents to thepurchase order to determine if they are the same with regard toquantity and product description.
• Check allproduct expiration code / dates, quantity and condition of casesand pallets.
• Report variances to appropriatesupervision or department to determine if product will be acceptedor refused.
• Place correct receiving tag inproper location on each pallet of product.
• Total the numbers on the purchase order and note variances to thebill of lading.
• Follow all applicable safetyand sanitation procedures, including food safetyprocedures.
• Adhere to all Company policies andprocedures, including the safe operation of equipment and help tomaintain a safe, clean work environment.
• Putaway inbound freight accurately and safely according to preferredmethods.
• Report all merchandise discrepanciesand product quality issues to supervision including, but notlimited to: damaged product, wrong store number, poorly stacked,incorrect store number and equipmentissues.
