Your new company Our client is a well-established supplier of parts and equipment supporting the mining industry across Queensland. With multiple locations throughout the state and a strong reputation for reliability and service, they operate one of their busiest warehouses in Mackay and continue to experience ongoing growth.

Your new role

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Warehouse Operator to join a busy and supportive team in Mackay. Working Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 4:00pm, you will be responsible for receiving and dispatching stock, operating forklifts including a reach truck, processing orders, assisting customers, and maintaining accurate inventory records. The role requires a flexible and dependable individual, as occasional after-hours and weekend call-outs may be required to fulfil urgent customer orders.

Full training will be provided, including on the company's inventory management system.

What you'll need to succeed

• Forklift Licence and demonstrated forklift experience
• Experience operating a reach truck forklift
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Reliable, flexible and motivated attitude
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
• Good computer skills and ability to learn new systems
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to work occasional after-hours or weekend call-outs when required
